Proposal Information
The proposed development includes:
• A single, building, no larger than 3,000 square feet (gross floor area);
• Maximum number of dogs at 40;
• A handler/attendant ratio of 1 for every 8 dogs;
• 3 fully enclosed (chain link fence) outdoor play areas;
• Hours of Operation - 7 am to 7 pm (7 days a week);
• Natural Landscape Buffers; and
• Associated parking.

Process
This application is being considered through the development agreement process.
Status
A public meeting was held on July 6, 2009. A staff report has been prepared, which includes a proposed development agreement and minutes from the public meeting. North West Community Council held a public hearing on February 25, 2010. The recommendation was approved.
