The proposal is for clustered multiple-unit buildings presented as townhouse-style dwelling units on a 22-acre parcel on Brian Dickie Drive in Musquodoboit Harbour. Two additional parcels are proposal to be created for parkland as well as a road right-of-way proposed to be conveyed to the Municipality for access purposes.

The site is designated zoned MU (Mixed Use) under the Municipal Planning Strategy (MPS) and zoned MU-1 (Mixed Use) under the Land Use By-law (LUB) for the Eastern Shore (West) Plan Area.

This application is being considered under the development agreement process.


Status

A Public Hearing for Case 18932 is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, by Harbour East-Marine Drive Community Council at 7:00 p.m. at the Old School Gathering Place, 7962 Nova Scotia Trunk 7, Musquodoboit Harbour. Staff Report

A public information meeting (PIM) was held December 5, 2013, at the Eastern Shore Community Centre Hall, 67 Park Road, Musquodoboit Harbour.

The applicant has submitted the plans required by HRM staff to properly evaluate the application. These materials are available for review at the Planning Applications office in Dartmouth.
