A public information meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 20, 2017 beginning at 7 pm, at the Dartmouth Sportsplex (Nantucket Room) located at 110 Wyse Road, Dartmouth.

T. A. Scott Architecture and Design Limited is requesting to enter into a development agreement for lands located at Portland Street in Dartmouth to enable a mixed use development.

The applicant’s proposal is to develop a 10 storey mixed use residential and commercial building on the north side of Portland Street at civic numbers 335, 337, 341, 345, 349, 351 and 353 in Dartmouth. The proposed building will have 163 dwelling units, approximately 2500 square feet of commercial space and proposes 141 underground parking spaces. The existing buildings currently providing 32 dwelling units are proposed to be demolished.

The site is 48,796 square feet in area with the main floor footprint of the building proposed to be 26,250 square feet in area. Vehicular access to the development is proposed from two access points off Portland Street and two access points off Brenton Street.

Process
This application is being considered under the development agreement process. The development agreement process will include public consultation and a public hearing.
