The Integrated HRP/RCMP Major Crime Unit is seeking the public's assistance in solving the homicide of Donald Chad Smith.

Twenty-seven-year-old Donald Chad Smith of Windsor Junction was shot while making a pizza delivery to a building on Joseph Young Street in Dartmouth. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. Investigators have determined that the call to the pizza shop was placed from a payphone on Highfield Park Drive, between Joseph Young Street and Burnside Drive. The person who placed the order has not been identified and investigators are interested in speaking with them. Citizens who were in the area of the payphone on Highfield Park Drive at approximately 8:45 p.m. on Saturday night and who observed anyone around the phone is asked to contact police.
