The Integrated RCMP/HRP Major Crime Unit is seeking the public's assistance in solving the homicide of Paul Reid Livingstone.

On August 13, 2011, shortly after midnight, Halifax District RCMP received a call about a man who had been found deceased in a home on Montague Road. An autopsy was performed on Sunday, August 14, 2011. The victim was killed by a gunshot and his death has been ruled a homicide. The victim has been identified as the home owner, 58-year old Paul Reid Livingstone.

Investigators are looking to speak with a man and a woman who were at the Montague residence on Friday morning. They are described as Caucasian, late 50's or early 60's, driving a beige or brown vehicle. The woman is described as 5'4" with brown curly hair that is grey on the sides above the ears. The man is described as 5'10" with no facial hair and possibly wearing glasses.
