| The Integrated RCMP/HRP Major Crime unit is investigating the homicide of 34-year-old Raymond Paul Chase.
On May 13,1999, at 9:28 p.m., Raymond Chase of 41 Coventry Lane, Cole Harbour, NS, pulled into the driveway of his home driving his 1998 Chevy 1/2 ton truck. As Mr. Chase was exiting his vehicle, he was approached by a lone suspect who shot Mr. Chase, killing him instantly. The killer then ran to a vehicle waiting on Coventry Lane adjacent the victim's driveway, where he jumped into the passenger seat. The vehicle then fled the scene headed toward Colby Drive.
