The Integrated RCMP/HRP Major Crime unit is investigating the homicide of Paula Gallant.
Paula Gallant was a local elementary school teacher, wife and mother of one, who was found dead in the trunk of her vehicle parked in the lot of Beechville-Lakeside-Timberlea School at approximately 12:30 a.m. on December 28,2005. Mrs. Gallant was reported missing at approximately 10 p.m. on December 27 after she failed to return home from a shopping trip to Bayers Lake Park.
