The Integrated HRP/RCMP Major Crime Unit is seeking the public's assistance in solving the homicide of Daniel Martin Newman.
At approximately 3:30 a.m., the body of a 65-year-old male was discovered near St. Patrick's-Alexandra School in Halifax. The victim, Daniel Newman, had died as a result of the injuries he had sustained from being stabbed.
This matter remains under investigation and anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Integrated HRP/RCMP Major Crime Unit at (902)490-5331.
This case is part of the Nova Scotia Department of Justice Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program.
