Youth LIVE offers a comprehensive 28-week job experience and life skills development program for individuals who are motivated to make a change in their lives.

Am I Eligible?

To be eligible to join Youth LIVE you:

• must be between 16 and 30-years-old.
  
• must not be employed or attending school full-time.

What Can Youth LIVE Do For Me?

Youth LIVE offers you the opportunity to:

• Learn New Skills - in addition to hands-on experience, Youth LIVE participants take part in Job Search Learning Modules, such as Skills Identification, Resume Writing, Cover Letter creation, etc. Participants are also offered certification in WHMIS and Emergency First Aid and CPR(c) + AED throughout the 28 week program.
  

• Give Back - Youth LIVE participants work in business initiatives that protect our environment and provide valuable services to our community.
  
  

• Earn Money - Youth LIVE participants receive a training allowance based on an $9.50 per hour, 35 hour work week, for a term of 28 weeks.
  

• Have Fun - During our weekly meetings you'll learn valuable information, see demonstrations and take part in contests. We also do a bi-weekly recognition draw in which the names of all participants given a "Great Job" card during the proceeding two weeks are entered. The participant whose name is drawn wins a prize.
