Effective August 1, 2007 HRM transfered Wastewater Treatment, Environmental Engineering Services (EES) and Technical & Underground Services (TUGS) to the Halifax Regional Water Commission. |

Official Time: The official time for closings shall be Atlantic Time as recorded by the HRM Procurement Staff staff receiving the document at HRM Purchasing Department, 3rd Floor Duke Tower, Scotia Square, 5251 Duke St, Halifax, NS B3J 3A5 or the designated facsimile number (when permitted) upon full receipt.
It has been identified and confirmed that courier companies tracking systems and external fax machines are not consistently recorded and calibrated. Their time shall not be the official time and HRM shall not be responsbile for proving that their time is incorrect. It is the vendors responsibility to ensure that their submission meets HRM Official Time deadlines.

All new HRM contracts require vendors to provide Worker's Compensation Board of Nova Scotia clearance letters. HRM will only enter into contracts with firms who provide WCB coverage. Individuals not covered by WCB are not permitted on Halifax Regional Municipality property. |
