Approved Changes To Procurement Policy (Administrative Order #35) No Longer Require That All Procurement Opportunities Over $50,000 Are Advertised In The Local Newspaper.

Terms and Conditions shall no longer accompany the original tender document when downloaded, it is the vendor's responsibility to download separately if required by vendor.  This will significantly save on paper consumption.

Electronic PMTs:  Vendors now have the option to have payments made electronically.   Please download the form and submit to our Accounts Payable department.

Official Time: The official time for closings shall be Atlantic Time as recorded by the HRM Procurement Staff staff receiving the document at HRM Purchasing Department, 3rd Floor Duke Tower, Scotia Square, 5251 Duke St, Halifax, NS B3J 3A5 or the designated facsimile number (when permitted) upon full receipt.

It has been identified and confirmed that courier companies tracking systems and external fax machines are not consistently recorded and calibrated. Their time shall not be the official time and HRM shall not be responsbile for proving that their time is incorrect. It is the vendors responsibility to ensure that their submission meets HRM Official Time deadlines.
