The Main Gate of the Halifax Public Gardens is located at the corner of Spring Garden Road and South Park Street in Halifax.

Other public access gates are located at each of the three other corners of the gardens: at South Park and Sackville Streets; Sackville and Summer Streets and Summer Street and Spring Garden Road.
Gardens' Hours of Service:
8:00 a.m. to sunset, daily
Parking:
Metered parking is available on all the streets bounding the Public Gardens.
Accessibility:
The Public Gardens is wheelchair accessible, and has a limited supply of wheelchairs available for public use. Please inquire at Horticultural Hall.
Washrooms:
Washroom facilities (Mens' and Womens') are available at Horticultural Hall.
Horticultural Hall:
Besides showcasing historical and botanical information, Horticultural Hall also serves refreshments. Horticultural Hall is open during the month of May from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Summer hours begin June 1st and are the same as the Gardens'; 8:00 a.m. to sunset, daily.
