Purchase and Removal Of Building Only
At 134 Herring Cove Rad

On behalf of Halifax Regional Municipality, we are inviting proposals to purchase and remove the house at 134 Herring Cove Road. Each proponent must acknowledge that they will be responsible for the complete removal of the house from the site at their expense.

The successful bidder will be responsible for all required permits and will ensure that all rules and regulations concerning this work are adhered to including, but not limited to, environmental and safety regulations. It is a requirement that the successful bidder remove the building above the foundation, strip the basement to concrete (remove all partitions, pumps, furnaces, etc.) and then fill to the top of the foundation wall with “Clean Common Fill”.

A site visit will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at 2:00 pm.

All proposals will be analyzed based on overall best value to Halifax Regional Municipality, as determined in the sole opinion of HRM. CitiGroup Properties Limited, on behalf of HRM, reserves the right not to accept any proposal.

To be eligible for consideration, proposals must be received in a sealed envelope at the address below no later than 2:00 pm local time on the 3rd day of November 2006.

Sale of 26 Lyons Avenue

Take notice that Halifax Regional Council at a meeting to be held on September 12, 2006, at 6:00 pm, at Regional Council Chambers, 1841 Argyle Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia will consider the Sale of 26 Lyons Avenue at less than market value as provided for in Section 51 of the Municipal Government Act. Further information pertaining to this matter may be obtained from Real Property, Transportation & Public Works Services, 6th Floor, 40 Alderney Drive, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Offices are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Opinion in support of, or in opposition to, the proposal may be presented orally at the September 12, 2006 meeting. Written submissions may be forwarded to the Municipal Clerk, at P.O. Box 1749, Halifax, N.S., B3J 3A5, or may be faxed to 490-4208 before the date of the hearing.

On behalf of Halifax Regional Municipality, we are requesting proposals for the purchase and removal of a three-bedroom, pre-manufactured mini-home at 171 Highway 336, Upper Musquodoboit, NS. Each proponent must acknowledge that they will be responsible for the complete removal of the house from the site at their expense.

The successful bidder will be responsible for all required permits and will ensure that all rules and regulations concerning this work are adhered to including, but not limited to, environmental and safety regulations. It is a requirement that the successful bidder disconnect the services and clean up the site.

A site visit will be held on July 5th at 2:00 pm.

All proposals will be analyzed based on overall best value to Halifax Regional Municipality, as determined in the sole opinion of HRM. CitiGroup Properties Limited, on behalf of HRM, reserves the right not to accept the highest or any proposal.

To be eligible for consideration, proposals must be received in a sealed envelope at the address below no later than 2:00 pm local time on the 12th day of July 2006.
