HRM supervised Beaches and Outdoor Pool Season 2013:

We are pleased to announce that swimming lessons for all levels will be offered FREE this summer at our Beach site locations. Registration is a must and starts June 5 - call 490-6666
HRM has a variety of beaches, lakes and outdoor pools, many of which are supervised by our trained lifeguards every day of the summer. Trained by the Lifesaving Society, our lifeguards have specialized training in injury prevention, first aid and are equipped with emergency supplies for a waterfront setting. All locations which are supervised by HRM staff, include daily maintenance and weekly water testing as well.
