How to Apply

Important to know before you get started

  1. Ensure you allow enough time to complete the application process.
  2. It may take 15-20 minutes to complete the process.
  3. Do not start the process and complete at a later time. Your session may shut down and we will not receive your full application.
  4. You can only apply to a position once, so you will not be able to submit another application.   
  5. You must apply separately for each position that you are interested in.
  6. Have your Resume already prepared before starting the application process.

  • Make sure your cookies are enabled click here for directions on enabling cookies
  • A cover letter is not required. 
  • Make sure the "MY PERSONAL INFO" is updated with the correct e-mail address.
  • Your application has not been accepted unless you get an email confirmation.
    If you do not receive an email confirmation it means you may have listed an incorrect email or you did not complete the application.

All right you are ready to get started…..Now what?

New Applicants
(First time applying for an HRM Summer position)

  1. Check out the job descriptions on this webpage
  2. Select a job(s) that you are interested in and qualified for
  3. Click the Apply Now button on the Rec page
  4. Click on “Apply” button at the top of the career site
  5. Click on “Join Now”
  6. Once registered, download or create a resume by using “Resume Basic.”  Please note: the browse and upload feature only works with Word documents.
  7. Complete the questionnaires attached.  

 

NOTE:  You must complete the questionnaire attached to the job posting to be considered for a position    AND   You must apply separately for each position that you are interested in!

[The formatting of your resume may look different when you are inputting it into the Workopolis site. Do not worry - it looks normal when it gets submitted to us!]


Returning Applicants
(Previously applied online for an HRM summer position)

  1. Check out the job descriptions on this webpage
  2. Select a job(s) that you are interested in and qualified for
  3. Click the Apply Now button on the Rec page
  4. Click on “Apply” button at the top of the career site
  5. Use your existing Username and Password to Log into your Account
If you have forgotten your Username / Password:
If you have changed your e-mail address and can remember your username and password: If you cannot remember your e-mail address that you used to apply in the past: 
1.  Click on Lost your username or password. 1.  Click on the “My Personal Info” tab and change your information 1.  Please register again by clicking on “Join Now”
2.  Complete the indicated fields
3.  Click on the Submit button and your username and password will be sent immediately to your e-mail address
    

6.  Once signed in under your old user name/password edit your existing Resume by clicking on the “My Resumes” tab

ALSO EDIT: Make sure the "MY PERSONAL INFO" is updated with the correct e-mail address.

7.  If you needed to register again, download or create a resume, using “Resume Basic.”

8.  Click on the Apply button and proceed with your application.

9.  Complete the questionnaires attached.
