HRM Recreation offers various public skating sessions at the following arenas, from November 2012 to March 2013:

Public Skate - Helmet Policy
HRM recognizes that all skaters are at risk for potential head injury while participating in public skate programs.
Therefore, all skaters 12 years of age and under must wear a CSA approved helmet while participating in public skate programs at HRM arenas (as noted above). In addition, program skate monitors are also required to wear helmets while on the ice.
It is highly recommended that all skaters, regardless of age, wear a CSA approved helmet.
