All SPORT FIELDS and BALL DIAMONDS for which contracts have been issued are OPEN for play....However, please note that due to the rain/wet weather received yesterday, there may be soft/wet areas remaining. Please have officials monitor playing conditions for safety concerns to players as well as turf. If there is a risk of injury to players or risk of damage to infrastraucture, we ask that play stop. You are responsible for any and all damages as outlined in your Facility Rental Contract. Do not be pressured to play and do not use excessive means to prepare fields for play.

Any damages caused to turf as a result of unscheduled or unauthorized use could in fact interfere with field openings. Any use of HRM facilities without the appropriate authorization or when fields are closed will result in fines and possible loss of future scheduling privileges.

The Harbour East and Mainland Common All Weather Sport Facilities are open for play on a daily basis as scheduled. Should any of the all weather fields need to be closed for any reason, you would be notified as quickly as possible by staff.
