The Community Recreation Service Review is an assessment of the way HRM provides recreation services to its residents. The review is important to help HRM determine what recreation services are the most essential and the most effective way to provide them.
When completed, the Service Review will assist HRM Regional Council and staff to determine the most appropriate:
1. Level of Service for Communities across HRM
2. Methods (or approaches) of Delivering Service
3. Level of Funding
The review will also look at the revenues associated with recreation service delivery.
As part of the Service Review, HRM residents will have many opportunities to participate and provide their feedback in many different ways including public consultations, telephone surveys and via online survey.
In participating, we ask that you read the Frequently Asked Questions that will give you some background on the entire process and how you can get involved.
