First Draft

The first draft of the Regional Plan was released for public review on May 10, 2005. Public consultation occurred during the spring and summer months. Regional Council was presented with a "Response to Public Input" report in September. During October and November all feedback from the public was considered as Draft #1 was rewritten. In late October a series of district fact sheets and general fact sheet were published to outline the major changes to Draft #1. The major changes were also presented at six Community Council meetings held October 24 to November 7, 2005.
