The Guidelines for Groundwater Assessment and Reporting are intended to provide general administrative and technical guidance to
Subdividers applying for subdivision approval. They prescribe a set of minimum requirements for
preparing Groundwater Assessment reports.
These Guidelines are not intended to provide
detailed methodologies for conducting a Groundwater Assessment, as there are a number of
acceptable methods. The methodology should be developed and justified by the Qualified Person on a site-specific basis.
