Public Meetings Held March 2007

The purpose of the amendment is to allow an exemption of small scale subdivisions (3 lots or less) from the 10% parkland dedication requirement under the Subdivision By-law. Under the direction provided by Coucil, the proposed exemptions would apply mainly to the areas outside of the urban area of Halifax Regional Municipality.
