Rules and Regulations

In order to safely enjoy skating at the Emera Oval, there are a few rules and regulations you must be familiar with.

 

On-site Amenities

• Portable washrooms
• Skate change & spectator area

FREE Helmet and Skate Rentals

Please note: A photo ID is required to borrow the skates and helmets.

A CSA approved multi impact helmet (required for children 12 and under, encouraged for all others). Bicycle helmets will not be permitted, as they are not built to withstand multiple impacts.

A helmet lending program will be available. Upon your arrival visit our helmet lending trailer to pick them up.

 

Skates will be available to borrow at the site thanks to the Active Halifax Communities/RBC Skate Drive.

 

Food Services at the Emera Oval

 

	Beavertails and the Battered Fish both have food kiosks onsite for the skating season. Yum!
