Street Lights

Traffic Services is also responsible for the maintenance, repair and installation of street lighting:

• within the boundaries of the former City of Halifax,
• for the ornamental street lights in Bedford, and
• in Downtown Dartmouth.

Nova Scotia Power is responsible for all other areas.  To determine the ownership of a specific light, check our FAQ page for answers:
