Chain of Lake Trail Grand Opening- June 18, 2011

The Chain of Lakes Trails Association(COLTA) was formed in December 2009 to provide community support and assistance with the development of a  7.25 km rail trail that will extend from Joseph Howe Avenue to the beginning of the Beechville Lakeside Timberlea Trail.

The Chain of Lakes Trails Association is one of 23 other community groups in HRM who are planning constructing and maintaining trails. These groups work cooperatively as part of the Halifax Regional Trails Association.
