Presently there is no active community group managing this trail system. If you would like to get involved with trail management, please contact HRM Assistant Regional Trails Coordinator

Trail Information

The trail is located in Dartmouth, from corner of Baker Drive and Norman Newman Drive (west end trailhead). The main trail runs around the north of Russell Lake, along Russell Lake brook and Ellenvale brook, through Birches Park, past the soccer fields (eastern trailhead), and alongside Morris Lake. It ends at Waterside Terrace.
