Lost and Found

Please note: Lost and Found service to relocate to Bridge Terminal

Effective Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, Halifax Transit's Lost and Found service at the Burnside Transit Centre will be closed. It will reopen at the Bridge Terminal in a central kiosk on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017.

Lost and Found is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and closed on holidays. There is no emergency service outside of these hours. Passengers are reminded to ensure they have all of their personal belongings with them when disembarking as HRM assumes no responsibility for passengers’ personal belongings left behind.  Passengers are encouraged to call (902) 490-6617 to inquire if the item has been turned in.  Please note that Halifax Transit will dispose of perishable items immediately and may dispose of other lost and found items after 30 days by such manner as it determines appropriate.
