About the Community Liaison Group
The Woodside Community Liaison Group (CLG) has been established to guide and champion the community visioning process.
The CLG will:
-
be residents of the general Woodside area
-
lead the visioning process
-
develop a plan for public consultation
-
ensure diverse voices in the community are represented
-
develop a Vision and Action Plan that reflects local context
-
be a diverse and energetic group
-
able to make a volunteer commitment of up to one year (8-10 hrs each month)
-
take part in an orientation/ training session
-
use an “appreciative lens” to build on community strengths
-
be able to work effectively as a member of a team
CLG members are not members of Regional Council or Community Council and are not appointed by Council. An interview process will be used to ensure the CLG is representative of the make-up of the wider community and different interests and skill-sets are at the table.

Are there other ways to participate?
The CLG is only one way to get involved.
If you are not interested in applying to be on the CLG or do not have a lot of time to volunteer, consider other ways to participate.
