Collection Day Change Notice

Russell Lake Area of Dartmouth

Effective Tuesday, October 25 and thereafter, those areas described below will receive garbage/green cart/recyclables collection on a new day.

This change is necessary to enhance timeliness of the municipal collection service and to balance the number of households serviced on each collection day. Houses affected will recieve a hand delivered notice between October 11 & 14. If you have received a notice and your street is not indicated in the affected area, you may contact one of the numbers listed below. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Collection will occur as usual on Monday, October 17 (green cart/ recyclables).  The next collection for the area as noted will be Tuesday, October 25 (garbage/recyclables).

Please be advised that collection times will be subject to change. To ensure collection please place your materials curbside for 7:00 am.

YOUR NEW COLLECTION DAY WILL BE TUESDAY.

The following area, currently receiving collection on MONDAY will be affected:

  • West side of Portland Estates Blvd from the intersection with Portland St including side streets to the west

  • Josephine Crt

  • Portland Estates Blvd West and all side streets

  • Old Birch Rd, Wedgewood Crt, Ridgewood Crt, Rosehill Dr, Diana Grace Av and White Birch Ln

  • Russell Lake Dr, Hillview Dr, Sprucewood Crt, Georgian Crt, Princeton Ln, Emma Crt, Eisener Blvd, Rosewood Crt, Parkview Ln

  • Norm Newman Dr, portion of Baker Dr, Coldstream Run, Freshwater Trail, Lindenwood Terrace, Cloverfield Crt, Basswood Run, Morningfield Ln, Peachtree Hill, and Lansing Crt

Woodside Area of Dartmouth

Effective Thursday, October 27 and thereafter, those areas described below will receive garbage/green cart/recyclables collection on a new day.

This change is necessary to enhance timeliness of the municipal collection service and to balance the number of households serviced on each collection day. Houses affected will recieve a hand delivered notice between October 11 & 14.  If you have received a notice and your street is not indicated in the affected area, you may contact one of the numbers listed below. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Collection will occur as usual on Tuesday, October 18th (green cart/ recyclables).  The next collection for the area as noted will be Thursday, October 27th (garbage/recyclables).

Please be advised that collection times will be subject to change. To ensure collection please place your materials curbside for 7:00 am.

Woodside Day Change

The following area, currently receiving collection on MONDAY will be affected:

  • Both sides of Pleasant St commencing at the intersection with Tupper St and running southeasterly including side streets;

  • Tupper St, Southdale St, Harbour Dr, portion of Esdaile Av, Boundary St, Stephen St, Arthur St, Cuisack St, Prince Arthur Av, Brock St, Hershey Rd, Hilltop Ter, Esson Rd, Clyde St, Millverton Rd, Hastings Dr, Fenwick St, Clement St, and Lynn Dr; Marvin St, Randall St, Chadwick St, Renfrew St;

  • Streets in South Woodside including Irving St, Shirley St, Melva St, Station Rd, Mason St, Newberry Crt, Crawford St, Osborne Av, Franklyn St, Grant St, Acacia St, Herbert St, Lilac St, Lyon St, Everette St, MacKenzie St, Provost St, Novawood Dr, High St, Trenholme St, Bonnie Brae Dr, Elswick St., Waynewood Dr and Brompton Rd; Carleton St and Belmont Av
