Post-storm collection
Garbage pick-up on the Halifax peninsula is postponed Monday, Sept. 9 and is rescheduled for Monday, Sept. 16. Due to the skipped pick-up date, residents can put double the number of garbage bags at the curb as normal.

On Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019 there will be a special election in District 15, Lower Sackville to fill the vacant Council seat. This election will be entirely electronic. All votes will be cast either online or by telephone.
