Police Report March 8, 2012

GO #12-35591 - Injury Motor Vehicle Collision - At 3:44 p.m., police responded to a head on collision on Windmill Road at Dawn Drive in Dartmouth. The collision involved three vehicles. Two occupants had to be removed from the vehicles using the jaws of life. Three people in total were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries at this time. Traffic is being diverted in the area of the collision. The HRP Accident Investigation Team has been called in to lead the investigation into this serious collision.

 

GO #12-35805 - Robbery - The victim reported to police that at approximately 11:30 p.m. he was walking in the area of South Park and Brenton Streets when he was approached by a male and female walking in the opposite direction. The male, who was carrying a large stick, walked up to the victim and demanded money from him. When the victim stated that he didn't have any money, the male suspect took his cell phone. The two suspects then walked away. The victim wasn't injured during the incident. The suspects were descibed as a white male, 5'9" wearing a dark jacket with a dark hoodie underneath and blue jeans, and a white female, long brown hair, wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans and sneakers.
