The Halifax Regional Municipality’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion is hosting two information and community engagement sessions with immigrant residents.
These sessions will:
- Inform immigrants about and create awareness of municipal services and programs that help with their integration in the community.
- Help the municipality gain better understanding of municipal services and programs immigrants are looking for, what their priorities are and if these services are accessible to them.
Information collected will help inform Halifax Regional Municipality’s Immigration Strategy.
The sessions are scheduled as follows:
- Monday, January 20, 6 - 8:30 p.m., RBC Learning Centre at Halifax Central Library
- Thursday, January 23, 5:30 - 8:30 p.m., Thomas Raddall room at Keshen Goodman Library
Individuals who are unable to join the engagement sessions can still give feedback by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 902-292-0141.
