Monaco Investments Partnership is applying to:
1.rezone lands located at 307 Prince Albert Road from C-2 (General Business) to GC (General Commercial);
2.rezone lands located at 5 Glenwood Drive from R-2 (Two Family Residential) to R-4 (Multiple Family Residential - High Density); and
3. enter into a development agreement to allow a 9-storey mixed use building containing a maximum of 90 dwelling units and ground floor commercial uses.
The applicant wishes to develop a 9-storey mixed use residential and commercial building. General details of the proposal include the following:
•A maximum of 90 dwelling units;
•A maximum of 605 square metres (6512 square feet) of ground floor commercial space;
•Parking internal to the building with a minimum of 106 parking spaces; and
•A minimum of 100 square metres (1,076 square feet) of indoor amenity space for residents.
Note: A previous application for a 15-storey building was refused by Harbour East Community Council in 2012.

This application is being considered through a two-step rezoning and development agreement process. A Public Information Meeting was held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Alderney Elementary School - 2 Penhorn Dr, Dartmouth, NS.
Please note the supplementary staff report for Case 20269: Rezoning and Development Agreement – 307 Prince Albert Road and 5 Glenwood Avenue, Dartmouth will now go before Harbour East - Maine Drive Community Council on January 11, 2018, rescheduled from January 4, 2018.
