The applicant wishes to allow for an additional residential unit in an existing multiple unit building. This would be done through an internal conversion of a storage room into a one bedroom unit.
The Development Plans (provided below) outline the development proposal in detail, and include information related to the proposed building, parking location, driveway access, and amenity areas.
Once an amendment to the development agreement is negotiated, Staff will complete a report providing a recommendation to Halifax and West Community Council. A public information meeting and public hearing are not required for a non-substantive amendment to a development agreement. The decision on the amendment is made by resolution of Council.
