The subject site is located in the community of Spryfield adjacent to the J.L. Ilsley High School and has frontage on both Drysdale Road and River Road. The applicant has submitted a request to enter into a development agreement to allow a four storey residential building containing 50 units and 41 townhouse units arranged in 9 blocks as shown in the site plan [provided below]. The property is designated RDD [Residential Development District] under the Halifax Municipal Planning Strategy [MPS] and zoned RDD with a small portion of the site off River Road zoned R-4 under the Halifax Mainland Land Use By-law [LUB].
This application is being considered through the Development Agreement Process.
