Lydon Lynch Architects have submitted an application to enter into a development agreement on lands located at Fourth Street near the Bedford Highway, Bedford (PID 41457979) to allow a multi unit residential building.
The applicant wishes to develop a four (4) storey residential building on the subject site. The major aspects of the proposal are as follows:
• A single partially underground level of parking containing 23 parking spaces, bicycle parking, storage, and mechanical space. Six outdoor spaces are also provided adjacent to Fourth Street.
• A total of 18 units, all two bedroom, within levels 2 to 4
• A 430 square foot common room on level 2 as well as outdoor amenity space as noted on the landscape plan provided below
The Development Plans (provided below) outline the development proposal in detail, and include information related to traffic and shadow impacts, details of the proposed building, parking locations, driveway access, and landscaping.
The application will be considered under the Development Agreement Process.
The public hearing will be held on September 10, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Margarets Bay Centre (Gymnasium), 12 Westwood Boulevard, Upper Tantallon, N.S. All oral and written submissions will be considered at that time. Written submissions may be forwarded to the Municipal Clerk by mail, P.O. Written submissions should be received by the Municipal Clerk's office as early as possible and not later than 3:00 p.m. on September 10, 2018. For any written submissions exceeding three standard letter sized pages in length, ten copies must be submitted to the Municipal Clerk's office.
