Lydon Lynch Architects have submitted an application to enter into a development agreement on lands located at Fourth Street near the Bedford Highway, Bedford (PID 41457979) to allow a multi unit residential building.
The applicant wishes to develop a four (4) storey residential building on the subject site. The major aspects of the proposal are as follows:
• A single partially underground level of parking containing 23 parking spaces, bicycle parking, storage, and mechanical space. Six outdoor spaces are also provided adjacent to Fourth Street.
• A total of 18 units, all two bedroom, within levels 2 to 4
• A 430 square foot common room on level 2 as well as outdoor amenity space as noted on the landscape plan provided below
The Development Plans (provided below) outline the development proposal in detail, and include information related to traffic and shadow impacts, details of the proposed building, parking locations, driveway access, and landscaping.
The application will be considered under the Development Agreement Process.
The application is being circulated internally to staff for review and comment. Public Consultation will occur after this step and will be posted to this website when scheduled.
Documents Submitted for Evaluation
The applicant has submitted plans and studies required by HRM staff to properly evaluate the application. The documents are also available for review at the Planning Applications office in Downtown Dartmouth.
