Application by Ariana Properties Limited for a non-substantive amendment to an existing development agreement for lands located at 285 Larry Uteck Blvd, Halifax to allow for an extension to the completion dates identified in the development agreement.
The current development agreement requires the completion of the development by January 14, 2018. This proposal is to revise the agreement to allow for completion by January 14, 2024. The applicant has advised that the a 6-year time extension is required to allow for the completion of two twelve-storey apartment buildings in succession, with each building anticipated to take approximately three years to complete.
The application is being considered under the Non-Substantive Amendment to Development Agreement process.
Staff is undertaking a detailed review of the application.
