Jack Bryant is applying, on behalf of 3232975 Nova Scotia Ltd., to amend the existing 2014 development agreement for PID 40306730, property adjacent to 1300 Prospect Rd, Goodwood, to permit a four-year extension to the deadline for commencement of development and a five year extension to the deadline for the completion of development.
The property owner is making an application to amend the existing development agreement allowing the construction commencement deadline to be extended by four years and the completion of the development deadline to be extended by five years. The existing development agreement requires construction to commence by August 26, 2018, which is four years after the development agreement was registered. This application proposes to extend the construction commencement deadline to August 26, 2022 and the completion of development deadline to August 26, 2023.
The applicant wishes to develop a service station, drive-in restaurant and a 10,000 square foot commercial retail building on two parcels.
The existing Development Agreement (provided below) outlines the development proposal in detail, and includes information related to the proposed buildings, parking location, driveway access and landscaping.
A public hearing will be held for this application by Halifax and West Community Council on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 @ 6:00 p.m., Halifax City Hall (Halifax Hall), 2nd Floor, 1841 Argyle Street, Halifax, NS. All oral and written submissions will be considered at that time. Written submissions may be forwarded to the Municipal Clerk by mail, P.O. Written submissions should be received by the Municipal Clerk’s office as early as possible and not later than 3:00 p.m. pm on December 12, 2018.
