Affirmative Ventures Association is applying to discharge an existing development agreement on lands at 64-66 Lakecrest Drive in Dartmouth.
The applicant wishes to discharge an existing development agreement that permits a 10 unit apartment building on the subject site.
The major components of the existing development agreement are as follows:
- 10-unit apartment building with a common room;
- At least 3 ground floor barrier-free dwelling units;
- Maximum building height 13 metres (42 feet);
- Building footprint no more than 362 square metres (3,900 square feet); and
- Surface vehicle parking
If the existing development agreement is discharged by the Harbour East – Marine Drive Community Council, as requested, development on the subject site will be controlled by the R-3 (Multiple Family Residential – Medium Density) and C- 2 (General Business) Zone standards in the Dartmouth Land Use By-law.
The application will be considered under the Development Agreement Discharge process.
Staff are undertaking a review of the application.
The Harbour East-Marine Drive Community Council will not hold a Public Hearing in relation to this application; the existing development agreement can be discharged by resolution.
