WM Fares has applied to rezone property at 95 Caledonia Road from C-1 (Local Business) to C-2 (General Business) and to enter into a development agreement to allow the construction of a new multi-unit dwelling (apartment building) with ground floor commercial uses.
The applicant proposes to remove the existing building and construct a new building at 95 Caledonia Road with these features:
• 5 storeys
• Ground floor commercial uses fronting Caledonia Road
• 361 m2 (3890 ft2) of commercial space
• Covered surface parking
• 59 units (apartments)

The Harbour East Marine Drive Community Council will ultimately decide whether to approve or deny the application based on the criteria in the Dartmouth Municipal Planning Strategy.
The subject site is located in District 6 – Harbourview – Burnside – Dartmouth East.
