Application by Canadian International Capital Inc. requesting non-substantive amendments to an existing development agreement (Links at Brunello) to allow for an apartment building on portions of PID 41404567, Timberlea.
In 2001, the original development agreement for the Links at Brunello was approved by Council. The development has had several name changes over the years but has generally remained the same - a mixed-use residential and golf community in Timberlea consisting of residential, commercial, institutional and park uses. Since 2001, there have been several amendments made to the original agreement. This is the proposed 13th amendment.
As per Section 2.4.4 and 3.1(c) of the exiting development agreement, multi-unit dwellings are permitted by non-substantive amendment to the development agreement.
The major aspects of the proposal are as follows:
• A 3 towered apartment building with a shared podium/underground parking;
• 333 total units;
• Proposed tower heights of 51 m, 39 m, and 39 m;
• 480 parking stalls; and
• Amenity space.
The Development Plans (provided below) outline the development proposal in detail, and include information related to building location and design.
Currently this application is at the review team stage of the process where the request is reviewed by municipal staff. As this is a non-substantive amendment, a Public Information Meeting and Public Hearing are not required. The decision on the amendment is made by resolution of Council. Interested parties are invited to contact the Planner for additional information or to comment on the application.
