The applicant has applied to discharge an existing development agreement that allowed the construction of a radio station on lands at 2900 Agricola Street, Halifax.
If the existing development is discharged, development on the site will be regulated by the development rules in the Regional Centre Land Use By-law.
The application will be considered under the Development Agreement Discharge process.
Staff are completing a review of the application. No public information meeting will be held. Interested parties are invited to contact the Planner for additional information or to comment on the application.
The Halifax and West Community Council will decide whether to approve or deny the application based on the Regional Centre Secondary Municipal Planning Strategy. HWCC can approve the discharge by simple resolution and will not hold a public hearing.
The subject site is located in District 8 – Halifax Peninsula North.

The applicant has submitted plans and documents required by HRM staff to properly evaluate the application. The documents are also available for review at the Planning Applications office in Downtown Dartmouth by appointment with the Planner.
