Deloitte Restructuring Inc has requested a non-substantive amendment to an approved development agreement to change the commencement and completion dates.
Proposal
The applicant wishes to amend the development agreement as the previous property owner has declared bankruptcy and did not start the development project. The lands are in receivership and the applicant is requesting amendments to the development agreement to allow a new owner the ability to develop the property in accordance with the development agreement. The approved development agreement permits the following:
- A 6 storey multi unit building with 48 dwellling units;
- A 7 storey multi unit building with 70 dwelling units;
- 4 stacked townhouse blocks with a maximum of 40 dwelling units; and
- 1 standard townhouse block with a maximum of 4 dwelling units.
The applicant is requesting to extend the time for commencement and completion by 5 years.
Process
The application will be considered under the non-substantive amendment to a development agreement process.
Status
This application will go to Harbour East Marine Drive Community Council for a resolution.
