Zeidler Architecture, on behalf of the property owner, is requesting a non-substantive amendment to an existing development agreement on lands at 181 Pleasant Street, Dartmouth to enable a one (1) year time extension to the date of commencement of construction.
In 2016, Harbour East Marine Drive Community Council approved a development agreement to allow a residential apartment building with 53 units at 181 Pleasant Street, Dartmouth (Case 19528). In 2019, Harbour East Marine Drive Community Council approved a one (1) year time extension for the commencement of construction (Case 22490). That time extension will expire on Jan 21, 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the property owner is now seeking another one (1) year time extension for the commencement of construction.
An extension to the date for commencement is considered a non-substantive amendment to the agreement.
Currently this application is at the review team stage of the process where the request is reviewed by internal municipal staff.
