Zzap Consulting Inc., on behalf of property owner G 2 J Residential Holdings, is requesting to enter into a development agreement to build an apartment building at 246 Waverley Road, 2 and 4 Montebello Drive. (PIDs 00249771, 00249789, 00249797).
The applicant wishes to build a 6 storey building at the intersection of Waverley Road and Montebello Drive. The major aspects of the proposal are as follows:
- 46 residential units including townhouse style units with entrances on Montebello Drive
- 3,270 square feet of potential ground floor commercial space with frontage on Waverley Road.
- 39 underground parking spaces with garage access off Montebello Drive
- 1,950 square feet of amenity space at the penthouse level
The Development Plans (provided below) outline the development proposal in detail, and include information related to site and building design, traffic, and servicing.
The application will be considered under the Development Agreement Process.

Everyone is welcome to attend and participate in this meeting. Planning staff and the applicant will be present to discuss the proposal and respond to questions from the public. Feedback on the proposal will be collected up until June 16, 2021.
Individuals wishing to ask questions or provide feedback on the application may do so by telephone or through Microsoft Teams. Individuals wishing to participate in the meeting must contact the HRM Planner no later than 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 31, 2021 to be added to the speakers list. We encourage all residents who have any desire to speak at the meeting to ask to have their name added to the list. Individuals who no longer wish to speak may ask to have their name removed from the speakers list.
