Case 23483 - The Links at Brunello Golf Course, Timberlea

Updated:

Request

We received an application for changes to the planned community at the Links at Brunello in Timberlea. If approved, the changes would:

•    Remove a designated site on Amalfi Way that had been reserved for a future school; and
•    Allow residential development on the former school site.

The development plans linked below illustrate the requested changes.

Proposal

Existing Development Agreement

The planned community was permitted through a development agreement originally approved in 2002. It permits a mixed-use golf community including different types of dwellings (apartment buildings, duplexes, townhouses and houses) and commercial uses surrounding the Links at Brunello Golf Course in Timberlea.

See a consolidated version of the original development agreement and subsequent amendments here and the schedules to the development agreement here.

Process

The application will follow the Non-Substantive Amendment to Development Agreement process
