WSP Canada Inc. is applying to discharge an existing development agreement from lands at 5885 Spring Garden Road in Halifax.
The applicant proposes to remove a previously approved development agreement from 5885 Spring Garden Road in Halifax. The existing development agreement will permit an 18-storey multi-unit residential addition to an existing 11-storey building. The proposed building addition will contain 104 residential units and be constructed on the surface parking lot behind the existing building. If the discharge of the development agreement is approved any future development of the lands will be subject to the Regional Centre Land Use By-law.
Planning staff is completing a detailed review of the application prior to preparing the staff recommendation report and proposed discharging agreement to Halifax Peninsula Planning Advisory Committee and Halifax and West Community Council.
