Regional Council will consider an amendment to the Regional Municipal Planning Strategy (RMPS) to enable the establishment of Commercial Development Districts in areas that are serviced by wastewater facilities and a water system. The amendment to the RMPS would allow for the future consideration of a by-law for Commercial Assessment Averaging.
Staff have prepared a recommendation for an amendment to the Regional Municipal Planning Strategy which will be considered by Regional Council. Before Regional Council can make a decision about the amendment, a public hearing shall be held
The public hearing will be held on December 7 at 6:00 p.m. at Halifax City Hall (Council Chamber), 1841 Argyle Street, Halifax, NS.
All oral and written submissions will be considered at that time.
