Sunrose Land Use Consulting is applying to rezone the lands at PID #40064875 on Youth Camp Road, Bayside (former Bayside Youth Camp).
The proposal is to subdivide the former Bayside Youth Camp for the purpose of developing a single unit dwelling. However, the applied Community Facility (P-2) Zone does not permit a single unit dwelling and therefore a Planning Application process is required. The subject property is currently designated the Rural Residential E (RRE) in Planning District 4 (Prospect) and the proposal is to change the applied Community Facility (P-2) Zone to the Rural Residential E (RRE-1) Zone. The application will be considered under the Municipal Planning Strategy Amendment and Rezoning process.
Regional Council approved the initiation of this case on July 12, 2022. Following the review from staff, a sign will be posted on the proposed site and letter detailing the proposal will be distributed to all property owners approximately 500 feet from the proposed site.
