Case 24308 - 378 Shore Drive, Bedford



Application by Stephen Adams Consulting Services, on behalf of property owner (Dino Capital Limited), requesting to rezone the property from the existing Residential Multiple Dwelling Unit (RMU) Zone to the Residential Two Dwelling Unit (RTU) Zone.


The applicant, on behalf of the property owner, is applying to rezone this property to a less intense use. The applicant has provided a letter detailing the rationale for the rezoning as well as a site plan, which illustrates how the property could be redeveloped under the requested new zoning. Please note t any redevelopment of the property will be subject to the requirements of the RTU Zone of the Bedford Land Use By-law.


The application will be considered under the Rezoning process.


Currently, this application has completed the team review stage of the process where the request has been reviewed by internal municipal staff from Development Engineering, Building Standards, Subdivision and Development, Civic Addressing and Nova Scotia Power. 

The next step is to hold a public information meeting. Staff are currently working out the details, location, and time of that meeting.  This website will be updated in advance of the meeting and a mailout notification will be sent to all properties within 500 feet of the subject property. Interested parties are invited to contact the planner for additional information or to comment on the application.
