Application to amend an existing development agreement to modify the requirements for a single-family dwelling at 97 Dartmouth Road, Bedford.
In 2007, North West Community Council approved a development agreement to permit the creation of a flat lot and the development of a single-unit dwelling on the flat lot. HRM approved the subdivision for the flat lot (97 Dartmouth Road) on September 21, 2010.
The existing development agreement sets requirements related to the sitting and scale of the building, access and parking, and landscaping. It currently permits a total building footprint of 1,189 square feet. The applicant is applying a substantive amendment to increase the permitted building footprint from 1,189 square feet to 2,300 square feet.
The application will be considered under the Substantive Amendments to a Development Agreement process.
