The Halifax Regional Municipality is now accepting applications for the 2026/27 Grants to Professional Arts Organizations Program.
The deadline for the applications is Tuesday, March 31.
This program supports the operating and artistic capacity of producing and presenting art organizations in the region that advance the profile of the local arts sector, with an overarching goal to foster broad public access to professional art.
There are two funding streams:
- Operating assistance
- Project assistance.
The municipality provides up to three-year funding agreements towards the operating funds of eligible groups and annual funding agreements supporting distinct artistic projects.

La municipalité accepte les demandes pour le programme de subventions aux organismes artistiques professionnels
La Municipalité régionale d’Halifax accepte maintenant les demandes pour le Programme de subventions aux organismes artistiques professionnels de 2026-2027.
La date limite pour présenter une demande est le mardi 31 mars.
Le programme vise à soutenir la capacité opérationnelle et artistique des organismes de production et de présentation artistique de la région qui font avancer le profil du secteur des arts local, avec pour objectif principal de favoriser un large accès du public à l’art public.
Il y a deux sources de financement :
- l’aide à l’exploitation
- l’aide aux projets
La municipalité fournit des ententes de financement pouvant aller jusqu’à trois ans pour les fonds de fonctionnement des groupes admissibles, ainsi que des ententes de financement annuelles pour soutenir des projets artistiques distincts.
